Enhancing on the beautiful vegan lounge from the last River Festival, Castle Mound will be transformed into the Green Earth Village. Produced by our partners at the Green Earth Café, there will be an eclectic mix of wellbeing, nature, performance, vegan products, food and arts.

Come and visit the Eco Forest and bring the children to the talks and workshops in the Green Earth Kids area.

The Sunrise stage will give local up-and-coming musicians the opportunity to be involved in the River Festival.

This area is also on the doorstep of The Higgins Bedford which will be hosting Heritage Bedford and the Bedfordshire Libraries & Bedford Archives Services, with some free family craft activities, trails and quizzes.

Castle Mound has long offered an excellent viewing spot for the various river activities taking place throughout the Festival weekend, including the racing and the illuminated boat parade on Saturday evening. Visitors can enjoy the catering options on offer or bring a picnic.
