Mayor Tom Wootton will be taking part in a service to launch the appeal at 10am. A military vehicle display and a stand run by the Royal British Legion will also feature on Harpur Square.

There will be no Poppy Shop in Bedford this year, however, poppies will be available in the major supermarkets and from a Poppy Appeal stall in the Harpur Centre until Saturday 9 November.

In recent years, Bedford and District Branch of the Royal British Legion has raised approximately £30,000 for the Poppy Appeal each year. Come together and see what we can raise in 2024!!
