Harpur Centre’s much loved Kid’s Club is kicking off the year with a healthy start event on Saturday 25th January, offering a day filled with fun, learning and healthy activities for children. This year, alongside the all-day Fruit Kebab Workshop where children and make and take away their own fruit kebabs, there will be three interactive Food Positivity Workshops happening throughout the day. Each one-hour session will engage children in exciting games, songs, and mind-stimulating activities, all designed to promote a positive attitude toward food.

The workshops aim to teach kids the importance of trying new foods, keeping an open mind and not being afraid to experiment with different tastes and textures. It’s a fun and educational experience that encourages a lifelong healthy relationship with food.

Throughout the event, Harpur, the centre’s beloved mascot, will make special appearances to meet the children, pose for photos, and spread excitement about the day’s activities. She’ll also be encouraging sign-ups for the Kid’s Club, giving families the chance to join for a year full of fantastic events and workshops.

This event is completely free and the Harpur Centre encourages everyone to come along and enjoy the activities. It’s a perfect way to kick off the year with free fun and positive experiences.
