Bedford Borough Council has announced the return of Bedford Beach Week, a delightful family-friendly event taking place from Thursday 14th August to Sunday 17th August 2025 at Silver Square.
This unique event invites children to enjoy a free, sand pit experience right in the heart of Bedford.
Families can look forward to a safe and fun environment where kids can dig, build, and play in real sand, bringing a splash of beachside joy to the town centre. Bedford Beach Week is designed to encourage outdoor play and community togetherness, offering a perfect summer treat for local residents and visitors alike.
Entry is completely free, making it an enjoyable activity for all families.
This event has previously been held in Harpur Square, and this year it is being held in Silver Square, both outside and inside the new Visitor Information Centre (in the old Debenhams building).
