Robinson Pools & Fitness is a well-established leisure centre located on Park Avenue in Bedford. Facilities include a 33.3-metre main swimming pool with six lanes, a teaching pool, and a diving pool equipped with 1m, 3m, and 5m diving boards. The venue is committed to accessibility, offering step-free access, a pool hoist, accessible changing facilities, and disabled parking bays. In recent years, the centre underwent a £1.3 million refurbishment which included improvements to the fitness suite and studios. Bedford Borough Council has also included Robinson Pools & Fitness in its long-term capital investment programme, with future plans to modernise and improve the site further.
Managed by Better, the public-facing brand of charitable social enterprise Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL), Robinson Pools & Fitness is part of the wider Bedford Borough leisure network. GLL focuses on delivering affordable and inclusive access to sport and fitness facilities.
Robinson Pools & Fitness is open from 6am to 10pm on weekdays and from 7am to 5pm on weekends.
