Join us at Herrings Green Activity Farm on October 30th from 10am to 3pm for our exciting Halloween Junior Animal Keeper Day, a fun-filled half-term adventure for children aged five and over! Working alongside experienced animal keepers, children will enjoy a hands-on day meeting, feeding, handling and caring for a variety of animals, including goats, sheep, donkeys, pigs, llamas, alpacas, rabbits and guinea pigs. They’ll also meet Penelope the skunk and discover the fascinating world of snakes, reptiles and creepy crawlies, with opportunities to get up close to some of these unusual creatures.

This interactive experience gives young animal lovers the chance to learn about animal care, ask questions and discover what it’s really like to be an animal keeper. Tickets cost £34 per child. Children should bring a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of drinks, and wear warm, weather-appropriate clothing and suitable footwear or wellies. Drop-off is at 10am and collection is at 3pm, as parents cannot stay during the activity, although they are welcome to purchase general farm admission separately. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
