What is Aconchego Portugues?

Aconchego Portugues is a Portuguese cafe and grocer in Bedford’s Church Arcade. It is a little gem of a store, selling fresh bread, sandwiches, pastries and cakes, and hot and cold drinks. Upstairs you’ll find shelves full of a variety of Portuguese goodies, some pretty Portuguese pottery as well as a freezer full of meat and fish.

So for breakfast, lunch or ingredients for a delicious meal at home, pop in to Aconchego and check out this new addition to Bedford’s foodie scene.
