ALTR X is an accessible and inclusive holiday course from April 9th until April 12th for young people aged 11-18 who may be too anxious to access mainstream holiday clubs, need a greater level of understanding in relation to their needs and would benefit from an environment that is SEND aware and friendly.

It is a fun and exciting opportunity to try new activities and engage with like-minded peers, in a in a low demand, safe space supported by specialist staff, who are adept in modifying tasks to make them accessible and to reduce anxiety. Each session will include a range of activities that are carefully planned to meet the interests of the young people.

Activities at ALTR X will vary throughout the day and they can select what they would like to engage with, or simply choose to chill out on a sofa with their favourite book! These might include:

• Games and gaming
• Music or drama
• Film making and watching
• Sports
• Cooking
• Relaxation
