What is the Bedford Town Deal?

This Town Deal is an agreement between government, Bedford Borough Council and the Bedford Town Deal Board. It sets out a vision and strategy for the town, and what each party agrees to do to achieve this vision.

Bedford has been awarded £22.6m for several projects to be completed by March 2026.
