Enjoy a relaxing cruise along Bedford Embankment and discover the history of the river, covering the navigation/lock, the castle, the embankment, town bridge, Commercial Road Baths and the railways.

As you cruise down the Bedford’s River Great Ouse along the Embankment, you will be provided with an in-depth history into the landmarks that can be seen from the river. The historian for the cruise is David Fowler, a local resident with excellent knowledge of Bedford.

There is a Galley Bar with hot and cold drinks, snack and a selection of merchandise.

The cruise is a return trip from Sovereigns Quay and lasts for 90 minutes.
