Bedford Borough Council’s Music in the Meadows series at the picturesque Mill Meadows Bandstand returns with May Blossom, when you can enjoy singalongs, a selection of remembrance and dance numbers. So grab your picnic basket, something to eat and drink, and settle in for a delightful and relaxing afternoon in the beautiful surroundings of Bedford Embankment.

Music in the Meadows takes place on every Sunday in August, from 3pm to 5pm, and it’s completely FREE! There will be a limited number of deckchairs, however you are welcome to bring along your own. Performers include Bedford Town Band, May Blossom and Fynnius Fogg.

The Bandstand is located in Mill Meadows, Bedford, and can be found between the Suspension Bridge and Bedford Lock. It’s easily accessible by foot, bicycle, or public transport, and has the What3Words location of mild.skips.loudly.
