The ‘Free to Feed’ campaign aims to encourage and normalise breastfeeding in public, helping those who breastfeed and/or pump to feel relaxed and increase their confidence. See below for our participating businesses.

Bedford Central Library has a dedicated private space for feeding should parents or carers wish to use it.

Made possible by funding from the Town Centre Priority Fund, the library has created a dedicated baby feeding room on the second floor. This comfortable and private space provides a welcoming environment for parents and carers with young children visiting Bedford Central Library. Please speak to library staff if you’d like to use the room and they’ll be happy to direct you.
