April to September will see the familiar sight of the blue and white John Bunyan Community Boat gracing the River Great Ouse in and around Bedford.
Earlier in the year, Bedford Borough Council enlisted the support of The Bedford College Group and ten of their Level Three engineering students to repair the floor chimes that are located on Harpur Street in Bedford Town Centre.
Works have begun on restoring and improving properties on Bedford’s High Street as part of the Borough Council’s High Street Heritage Action Zone, supported by Historic England.
The Zip Yard Bedford, which has been situated on the city’s High Street since 2013, has completed its 100,000th customer transaction.
