What is Harrison & Simmonds?
Harrison & Simmonds is a predominantly gentleman’s emporium with a varied and vast range of accoutrements, such as quality gifts, pens, lighters, pipes, cigars, wallets, model cars and planes, canes, traditional games, shaving accessories, engraving facilities and more.
In 1928, Ernest Harrison and his nephew, Nathaniel, purchased the original business of Covingtons Tobacco Specialists which had been established in the 19th century. The partners expanded the business, building solid relationships with their customers and laying the foundations of what still remains a truly family business. Today, two of Nathaniel’s sons and three of his grandchildren are committed to carrying on this successful and much-loved business on its original site, Bedford High Street.
