What is The Grove Pregnancy Advice Centre?
The Grove provides free pregnancy testing as well as confidential help and support for anyone facing a crisis pregnancy or trouble following an abortion. We are committed to treating everyone equally and with respect, regardless of religion, background, race, beliefs, age or gender. There is also an education project in the area of sexual health which works with young people’s groups and in schools.
The Grove began in 1999 and is part of All Nations Church in Bedford as a registered Christian charity. The Grove is overseen by a capable and caring Steering Group with a range of relevant experience. We accept referrals from health professionals, Social Services and other organisations who signpost to us, with self reverrals for all services. The Grove work with a code of ethics and have a complaints procedure. All trained volunteers work under the supervision of a qualified counselling supervisor and undergo further training on a regular basis.
