“Fever Pitch” is a British romantic comedy-drama film directed by David Evans and based on Nick Hornby’s bestselling memoir of the same name. The film stars Colin Firth as Paul Ashworth, a die-hard fan of Arsenal Football Club, whose obsession with football is put to the test when he falls for a fellow teacher named Sarah, played by Ruth Gemmell. As their relationship develops, Paul must reconcile his love for the game with his feelings for Sarah.
