Interactive Insight on Saturday 9 March, 1pm (doors open 12.30pm) at St Paul’s Church.
The opening of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 is one of the most recognisable in classical music. At the Philharmonia’s Interactive Insight, a group of their musicians take the audience on a deep dive into the music, teaching us about the motifs and structure of the piece, and providing otherwise unknown insight into the piece.
An interactive session of learning, this is open to anyone keen to gain a more in-depth understanding of one of the best-loved pieces of classical music. We particularly welcome GCSE, A-Level, and life-long music students.
After the Interactive Insight, you can also try the Philharmonia’s VR installation. Immerse yourself in music by Mahler, Tchaikovsky and Vaughan Williams.
