What is ALTR RISE?

ALTR RISE creates and delivers dynamic and innovative whole-person education programmes to children of all ages. It is a post-16 special educational needs college, offering a broad and balanced curriculum in a bespoke and creative manner, different to anything they have experienced before. Fostering improved mental health and well-being, the young people are given the nurture and encouragement to navigate new opportunities, experiences whilst being supported with structure of a specialist environment and staff team.

RISE (Revolutionising Individual and Specialist Education) prioritises understanding the whole person and uses this to inform the curriculum, programmes of support, and platform for future pathways. Young people have the opportunity to remove historic and existing barriers to learning and personal development, and are encouraged to revisit their future pathway choices with renewed excitement, vigour and confidence.

ALTR RISE improves outcomes for children and young people of all ages through bespoke outreach offers, their inspirational full time SEND College, the 14-25 Level Up supported work-based placement programme, and the RISE Up 14-17 day release programme.
