What is the Customer Hub?
The Customer Hub will serve as a one-stop destination for residents seeking assistance with Council services. The Customer Service team will be readily available to address enquiries and provide guidance on various municipal matters. From resolving queries to offering advice, the Team is committed to ensuring a seamless experience for visitors.
Visitors will have access to computers, free Wi-Fi, and phones, facilitating easy communication and online transactions. To assist those needing extra guidance with online services, floorwalker digital assistants will be on hand to provide personalised support.
Recognising the importance of digital literacy, the Hub will also offer opportunities for customers to enrol in “learn from scratch” courses. These courses are designed to help individuals who are new to digital services navigate online platforms effectively, empowering them to engage with Council services with confidence.
Bedford Borough Customer Hub will also host partner organisations, such as the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, on a regular basis. These partners will offer a wide range of advisory services, including budgeting assistance and specialised support, such as independent domestic violence advice.
