Get ready for a frightfully fun half term with Bedford Borough Council. This October, there is a jam-packed schedule of activities guaranteed to keep families entertained.
Creative Fun at The Higgins Bedford and Bedford Borough Libraries
The Higgins Bedford is hosting a series of exciting craft workshops for children aged five to twelve. Join local artist Katie Allen and make a monster collage, create your own wizard wand with Creative Days, or sculpt a spooky clay pumpkin tealight holder – perfect for Halloween!
These workshops are £5.50 per child and must be booked in advance on The Higgins Bedford website www.thehigginsbedford.org.uk/Whats_on
There are also FREE family activities at The Higgins Bedford that include Sunday Crafternoons, Puggle Club for the under-5’s and Toby’s Tall Tales visits the gallery with immersive storytelling for children under 7.

Family Hub Fun
A Family Hubs Festival is planned in Harpur Square on Wednesday 30 October, 10am until 3pm. This will be a celebration of all things Family Hubs and a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the services offered by this team. The new Family Hubs website will also be launching, it has been redesigned to make it even easier for local families to find the information they need when they need it.
