Christmas is well underway at Harpur Centre, where a full programme of festive activity is bringing seasonal cheer to visitors across Bedfordshire. Families can enjoy the much-loved Santa’s Grotto, the return of the Wishing Tree, and a magical appearance from the Living Snow Globe.
Santa’s Grotto is now open every Saturday and Sunday through to 21st December, giving children the chance to meet Santa, receive a gift on entry and, if they wish, purchase a professional photograph from Event-Photos. The Grotto will also open during Christmas week on 22nd and 23rd December as well as Christmas Eve. Visitors can enjoy 20% off their Grotto visit by using the code LB1.
Harpur Centre’s Wishing Tree has returned for another year, inviting shoppers to donate gifts to support children and families across Bedfordshire who may be facing a difficult Christmas. Donations placed beneath the tree until 21st December will be distributed through local organisations working with underprivileged families. The festive atmosphere continues on 13th December when the Living Snow Globe brings a touch of performance magic to the centre. Roaming between 12:30pm and 3pm, the experience promises to delight visitors of all ages as they shop.
Harpur Centre looks forward to welcoming the community throughout the season for a Christmas filled with generosity, celebration and family enjoyment.
