The Barley Mow Christmas Drive

The Barley Mow has always been community-minded, holding events for all ages and for those in need. This Christmas they are holding their very own Christmas Drive.

The Barley Mow are asking for donations of any unwanted items, toys, gift sets, clothes, decorations, video games, stockings and stocking fillers, giftwrap, tags and bags – basically anything that could be given as a gift or could be used for gift-giving. All items should be in good working order, complete and in good condition. They will be accepting items up until December 12th.

Drop off times:

Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-3pm & 5pm-1.30am

Thursdays 6pm-10pm

Saturdays 5pm-1.30am

On December 13th The Barley Mow will be holding two ‘shopping’ sessions, one from 12noon until 3pm and one from 5pm until 8pm. For people who are in need of budget friendly options, if they’re struggling and if they need help for what should be “the most wonderful time of the year”. The Barley Mow invites people to come along and pay what they can. All that is required is to bring a bag and whatever money can be spared.

If you know of anyone who would benefit from The Barley Mow Christmas Drive, please share this most worthy event. For any businesses wanting to support and place a poster in their window, please email barleymow@rainbowpubs.co.uk

All monies received on the day will be donated to Dine With Us Community Larder Supporting Anyone in Need, Bedford, who do amazing work and provides support for so many people.
