People living with Parkinson’s in Bedfordshire are invited to attend a free information event in June which will offer support, advice and information about getting active and living well with the condition.

When: Thursday 25th June from 1.30pm to 3.30pm

Where: Inspire Sports Village, Butterfield Green Road, Luton, LU2 8DD

To register for your free place at the community event, contact Julie Wilson, East of England Area Development Manager (ADM) on jmwilson@parkinsons.org.uk

The event is designed to help more local Parkinson’s communities and those with a connection to the condition learn about local services, ask Parkinson’s UK staff for advice or try different activities for free.

All ages, abilities and backgrounds are welcome to attend, ask questions and get involved on the day, and free parking and refreshments are also available onsite.

The awareness event is being delivered by teams from the East of England Parkinson’s UK team, Active Luton and Total Wellbeing Luton, with the aim of helping more people living with the condition in Bedfordshire to live well in 2026 and beyond.

Julie Wilson, Parkinson’s UK Area Development Manager (ADM) for the East of England, said:

“This is a wonderful opportunity to work with Active Luton as a partner.”
