Food etc launches Team Building Kitchen workshops

Food etc, a Bedford based not for profit organisation that empowers people to make better food choices, has developed Team Building Kitchen a new workshop designed to strengthen team connections in the workplace.

Led by culinary experts from Food etc, participants share the experience of cooking fresh, healthy and nutritious recipes and enjoying the resulting meal together. Whether participants are seasoned chefs or have never cooked they will learn new recipes and ways of cooking that will be useful every day.

Food education and a good healthy diet fuel the brain, improving alertness and boosting energy levels for a good productive day at work. Team Building Kitchen provides an opportunity for people to learn in a fun environment about food, ingredients and how they lead to good nutrition and improved wellness.

Julie Clay, Food etc. founder and director says:

The opportunity to prepare food and eat together is a great way for people to connect with each other, said Julie Clay, Food etc. founder and director. “This new workshop helps organisations cook up a great team spirit. And by commissioning Food etc to deliver this workshop for their team, companies will be supporting our work and help us to grow and reach more disadvantaged people.

Team Building Kitchen workshops also help organisation achieve their CSR/ESG objectives by investing in their staff and the community.

And they generate great content for a variety of purposes.

Team Building Kitchen costs start at £500 per half day for up to 15 attendees.
